Matarromera showed its potential in the last edition of Zarcillo Awards. Three wines produced this company achieved the Gold Zarcillo, and another 4 wines created by the group headed by Carlos Moro won a Silver Zarcillo.

Over 3000 samples submitted for this event guaranteeing the quality, rigor and prestige of this contest, which has become the second largest in the world.

In the edition of 2009, Cyan Pago de la Calera 2002 (DO Toro), Emina ATIO 2005 (DO Ribera del Duero) and Emina Rueda 2008 (DO Rueda) won the Golden Zarcillo
On the other side, Matarromera Prestigio 2003 (DO Ribera del Duero), Cyan Prestigio 2003 (DO Toro), Emina Verdejo 2008 (DO Rueda) and Valdelosfrailes Prestige 2005 (D.O. Cigales) were awarded the Silver Zarcillo.

This is undoubtedly a great recognition which confirms the great quality of the various different wines and wineries of Group Matarromera.
