New achievement for the winery led by Carlos Moro
MATARROMERA RESERVA 04 won a Silver Medal at the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, a wine competition considered among the elite of the international wine sector.
Created in 1994, this contest, which in its 2009 edition was held in Valencia, awarded Matarromera RESERVA 04, one of the wines elaborated in Matarromera winery, located in the town of Valbuena de Duero, Valladolid.
MATARROMERA RESERVA 04 is a wine made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, and it has been aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels.
It has a red cardinal colour, with dark purple and burgundy piping, covered in layer, clean and bright.
On the nose it is very intense, with powerful aromas of black fruit compote, like figs, blackberries and plums, in excellent harmony with the tones and spicy roasted rearing as cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa, chocolate, leather and snuff.
On the palate, it is tasty, succulent and very elegant. It shows broad and silky at the same time, the harmony between a container skeleton of mature tannins well tamed, and sensations of fruit.
This is a new appreciation for another Matarromera wine, the company headed by Carlos Moro, who adds this silver medal to its extensive trophy list.
