Jose Zorrilla stadium could not exceed the 5095 record of people tasting wine at the same time, since only 4379 spectators attended properly EMINASIN tasting.
Valladolid failed to break a new Guinness World Record. The goal of establishing "The largest wine tasting event" could not be finally carried out in the massive event that took place last Saturday, January 23rd at Jose Zorrilla stadium during halftime at Real Valladolid - FC BARCELONA game, corresponding the 19th day of the Spanish Liga.
4379 people participated successfully in the simultaneous EMINASIN tasting held at the stadium, an insufficient score to get the record. The record stood only in the absence of 716 people.
The spectators who came to see the game could participate in the tasting, following the internationally guidelines to do it, or what is the same: visual phase (appreciating EMINASIN colour), the olfactory phase (appreciating EMINASIN different flavours) and tasting phase (appreciating the taste).
Guinness World Records official Adjudicator, Talal Omar, who witnessed the attempt, viewed conscientiously the images of the tasting and therefore, he saw who successfully participated in the taste and who did not.
12 different cameras recorded the record attempt inside the stadium. After viewing that images, Talal Omar could not reveal the involvement of a greater number of people.
Although to date there was no World Guinness Record specifying an alcohol free wine tasting event, “The largest Wine tasting Event” was held at Aranda de Duero BullRin in 2006, where 5095 people took pat of it. The goal of overcoming that record failed at Zorrilla Stadium.
The event took place on the occasion of the sponsorship agreement acquired this season by MATARROMERA Group with Real Valladolid, whereby "alcohol free wine" EMINASIN LOGO (developed by this winery) looks on the left sleeve of the club T- shirt.
Thus, the winery, the club and the city itself, have been joining forces to promote the concept of responsible consumption without alcohol in sports grounds, with the help of a product as EMINASIN, made with alcohol-free wine.
