Mercados del Vino has granted the winery from Valladolid with this prestigious award.
The newspaper Mercados del Vino has awarded the Matarromera Group as the “Best R&D Management” within the 3rd Edition of the Prizes the Economic Vertical Contents company organizes.
The jury has specially valued the commitment the Valladolid company leaded by Carlos Moro has in the Investigation, Development and Innovation areas, fundamental supports of the Matarromera structure, currently accounting for over 30% of the Group’s annual turnover.
Matarromera, which had reached the final in previous editions of theses Prizes, has presently over thirty investigation projects running, which in the field of R&D situates the company as a national reference within the wine industry.
The jury of the event was integrated by Josep Puxeu (Secretary of Estate of the MARMA), Jaime Montalvo (ICEX Promotion Director), Mónica Muñoz (CEV President), José García Carrión (FEV President), José Ramón Lissarrague (Professor of the Madrid University - UPM), Oriol Guevara i Sendra (INCAVI General Director), Alejandro García Gasco (COAG Estate Responsible for Wine), Juan Gómez Benítez (President of the Spanish Federation of Oenologists Associations), Pedro Barato (ASAJA President) and César Saldaña (Jerez C.R.D.O General Director)
This award granted to Matarromera by Contenidos Económicos Integrales is an addition to the ones received by the winery during the last weeks, like the “Prize to the Business Internationalisation of Castilla y León 2009”, awarded by the Economy Counsel of the regional government, or the prize to the most innovative product, granted by the business magazine Castilla y León Económica.
