Madrid Radio and Television Professionals Federation has awarded Matarromera the "Silver Antenna" in recognition of its outstanding business communication management.

The jury, composed of prominent representatives of journalism in Madrid and other parts of Spain, has valued the commitment of the company headed by Carlos Moro with the information and communication since its inception in 1988.

Thus, Matarromera Group becomes one of the few companies to receive this prestigious award, whose recipients tend to be journalists of the Spanish radio and television.

In the 2010 edition, the winners, apart from Matarromera, were: Juan Fernandez Vegue, (RNE), Pedro Blanco, (Cadena SER); David Gistau, (Onda Cero), Gonzalo Estefania (Punto Radio), Daniel Gomez (Telecinco); Carolina Casado (TVE), Pilar Cernuda, (Antena 3 and Onda Cero), Minerva Piquero (la 10); Mercedes Landete (Telemadrid), Susana Criado (Intereconomia TV) and Maria Jose Bosch, (Radio Radio). In the political section, it was also awarded Ana Botella, councilor of the Municipality of Madrid, and the Socialist deputy Antonio Miguel Carmona. Madrid Zoo was also awarded.

Awards Gala will be held next 24th June (Thursday) at Madrid Zoo.
