ESDOR COSMETICS JOINS LUXURY SPAIN ASSOCIATION

  • The family Company plans to increase its national and internacional presence

Valbuena de Duero, Valladolid, 31st July 2014..Esdor Cosmetics has joined the Luxury Spain Association, whose purpose is to promote and protect Spanish exclusive and quality brands, making them known within and outside our borders. The Valladolid company integrates in a selected group that brings together some of the 50 most prestigious companies in the field of Food, Design, Fashion & Beauty and more.

Under the honorary presidency of S.A.R. Princess Beatrice d'Orleans, Luxury Spain aims to inculcate among their associated values ​​that combine tradition and modernity with creativity and innovation. Thus, the company born in Valladolid Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid) in 2010 share this exclusive club with ancient signatures and have built its reputation with the same formula for excellence since its inception.

Esdor Cosmetics meets the stringent requirements needed to join this exclusive club where it is required that all the brads need to be a leader and represent high standards in terms of quality, style, design, craftsmanship, creativity, service and innovation. THE MATARROMERA FOUNDATION COLLECTS 9.000 € FOR THE RED CROSS AND THE FOOD BANK

The Solidarity Project “Castilla y León is Wine, Art & Culture”, whose results have been presented at the Emina Winery, has collected 9.000€ for the Red Cross and the Food Bank.

Nine painters and nine poets have been the ones in charge of designing the labels of this limited edition of 900 wine bottles bought by entrepreneurs of Castilla y León during the presentation of the designs in the Emina Winery.

This project, developed by Matarromera Group and the newspaper El Norte de Castilla, aims to raise a total amount of 18.000€ that will be donated to these organizations.


 The companys Acor, Gullón, Grupo Norte and the theater producer Enrique Cornejo have bought the first 50 cases of 9 bottles each. The rest of the amount will be sold through the online shop Matarromerashop.com for the price of 180€ each one.


The artists participating in the project are:

CARLOS MORO & MARIO SANDOVAL LAUNCH VINESENTI, A LINE OF PRODUCTS MADE FROM GRAPES FOR COOKING

The prestigious chef Mario Sandoval and the distinguished winemaker Carlos Moro have  launched a new line of products under the name 'VINESENTI by Carlos Moro & Mario Sandoval'. They have extracted the essence of the grapes to use it for cooking.VINESENTI uses grapes as its main raw material, and those grapes come from two Spanish regions with a long wine-making tradition: Ribera del Duero and Rueda.This product is of natural origin and high in antioxidants. It is the result of years of research in the laboratories of abroBiotec, a company from Valladolid (Spain) specialized in the biotechnology industry. They have over 500 hectares of vineyards which they care for with great effort in order to obtain fruits of the highest quality.

MATARROMERA BUILDS THE FIRST ECOLOGICAL FACTORY OF OLIVE OIL IN VALLADOLID

Matarromera laid the first stone of the FACTORY OF OLIVE OIL OLIDUERO, located in the town of Medina del Campo, the first organic mill in the province of Valladolid that will be ready in September to start business in the harvest this year. 
During the ceremony have accompanied Carlos Moro, president Matarromera, different regional and local personalities.

The investment of Matarromera in this project is nearly a million and a half euros, and will have the latest technology to produce extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality. 
The olive oil mill will be ready in the next harvest this year 2014. The building will also include Olivo Interpretation Centre, where visitors can learn about the process of olive oil production, different types of olive oil, different olive varieties that can be visited at the olive 

Garden and other olive curiosities, in order to become a tourist reference in Medina del Campo and the region. 

The project began to take shape in 2007 when Matarromera created Emina Rueda Winery. Now, the company takes another step in its bid to olive cultivation in the region with the construction of the mill after the launch of Oliduero and OlidueroEcologic  late last year.

Las reconocidas bodegas Emina (Grupo Matarromera), presente en las Denominaciones de Origen de Ribera del Duero y Rueda, organizan el ‘1er Concurso Nacional Emina de Cata para Aficionados’ entre amantes del vino no profesionales para generar participación y difundir la pasión por algunos de los mejores caldos españoles tintos, blancos y rosados y encontrar al mejor catavinos aficionado entre distintas ciudades de España. Tras pasar por Andalucía, Galicia y la Comunidad Valenciana, el concurso sigue en Castilla y León y concretamente en Valladolid el próximo lunes 16 de junio en el Hotel Enara a las 20:00 horas.

WIN 5.0, A VERDEJO FRIZZANTE LOW IN ALCOHOL, IS LAUNCHED TO CONQUER THE FEMALE AUDIENCE

Matarromera, winery at the forefront of innovation in the production of wines and non-alcoholic wines launches WIN 5.0, a fresh Verdejo, frizzante and low in alcohol, aimed to conquer the female palate. WIN 5.0 is made of 90% Verdejo and 10% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, coming from the vineyards owned by Matarromera in Rueda.

The development of this wine is made possible thanks to a special care in the process of grape preservation at low temperatures and a 5.0 percent alcohol content, that keeps the CO2 from fermentation itself. This feature keeps the fresh acidity of the Verdejo but acquires a natural sweetness that makes aromas more tropical.

EMINA RECEIVED THE Q CERTIFICATE FOR QUALITY TOURISM

Emina Winery, located in Valladolid, has received the certificate Q for Quality issued by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) that recognizes best practices in management of tourism of the country. 


Only a very select group of wineries have received this award since, two years ago, the act UNE 302001:2012 Industrial Tourism, that establishes the technical requirements for facilities, management resources and tourism services, was passed.

MATARROMERA BUILDS THE FIRST ECOLOGICAL FACTORY OF OLIVE OIL IN VALLADOLID

Matarromera is building Oliduero, the first olive oil factory in Valladolid registered in the organic farming system. This makes possible to produce organic olive oil extra virgin in Valladolid. 
The works have started near our Emina Winery, located in Medina del Campo (Valladolid). The forecast is that around 100,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil will be produced annually in this facilities. 
The investment of Matarromera in this project will be nearly a million and a half euros and the facilities will have the latest technology to produce extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality.

La novedosa iniciativa de las primeras ‘Jornadas Comuneras’ es de la Escuela Internacional de Cocina Fernando Pérez, que ha organizado un ciclo de cuatro cenas-conferencias-espectáculo en distintas partes de la región de Castilla y León para profundizar en la relación entre gastronomía y cultura comunera.

La clausura de estas actividades será el próximo 14 de mayo, a las 20.30 horas, en plena milla de oro de la Ribera del Duero, en San Bernardo, Valladolid, tras pasar previamente por otros lugares también de la provincia de Valladolid, de Zamora y de Salamanca, en cuatro cenas temáticas entre abril y mayo. El lugar que dará fin a las Jornadas Comuneras será el restaurante La Espadaña de San Bernardo, afincado en la bodega Emina del Grupo Matarromera, quien siempre ha apostado por una filosofía de unir gastronomía y pasión por la enología y su vinculación cultural.
