The Matarromera wines of the Appellation of Origin Ribera del Duero are collecting excellent results in recent years. Today, as certified notable references, too. So, by Wine Enthusiast "Matarromera Prestigio 2005" gets 91 points and "Rento 2005" and "Matarromera Reserva 2005", 90 points respectively. Also, the 6 months barrel of Matarromera, "Melior 2009", achieves 89 points and Emina Atio 88.
The successful result takes "Matarromera Prestige 2005" in each event is not by chance. Its concentration of carefully selected grapes from old vines special land, the grapes harvested in small plastic boxes and processed at the time, reaching its best state of maturity contribute to a quite exceptional quality wine, becoming, year after year, one of the banners Matarromera.
