Matarromera Group is a champiion in wine tourism since a décade when starts a complete program in the Duero´s River several with several activities with a 15.000 tourists registered. One of the most importants atractives is its seven wineries along the region with an Rural Hotel, and a Castillian restaurant. Therefore, everything it does so with the greatest loving care of whoever accepts guest in its home.
The plan designed by the team of Tourism not neglect the smallest details: from the property, knowledge of the wine world through a visit to two most important national wineries: Matarromera and Emina and the provincial museum in the Castle of Penafiel, gastronomy and wine culture and regional levels:
- Hotel Rural Emina: Valbuena de Duero, a town steeped in the history of wine, is the privileged setting for the Emina Rural Hostel, an 18th-century building restored to offer tranquillity to tourists looking for a place to rest in these Castilian lands.
- Visitintg wineries: At both Emina Ribera and Emina Rueda, visitors will be received in a Garden of Varieties. In the rest of the wineries, all of which are surrounded by vineyards, visitors will find the perfect place to spend a day, either by enjoying a guided tasting session, holding a business meeting in a privileged environment, or celebrating their wedding in a very special way.
- Restaurant La Espadaña de San Bernardo: In the Emina Centre, we can not only taste Group Matarromera’s top-quality wines but also pair them with the most traditional dishes of the area: scrambled morcilla sausage, roast baby lamb, Iberian ham, torrijas… all prepared and cooked by our chef Julia Velasco.
