  •  Matarromera Group is a company committed to the environment, sustainability, research and innovation as levers of growth of their business competitiveness.
  •  Thanks to the self-generated renewable energy (biomass, solar photovoltaic and thermal), its registered office, the Emina Wine Interpretation Centre is the first Integral Center for sustainable development of the wine sector.
  •  The seven wineries of the Group are sustainable buildings.
  •  In 2007 it was named the best small and medium business environment of Spain
  •  Matarromera is the first Spanish company certified by AENOR that measures its carbon footprint.  The environmental impact of the production of several of their wines on the atmosphere and the environment.
  •  Recently, the Group has won the award for best eco-innovative action in the field of solid biomass by the Biodiversity Foundation under the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, Green Jobs Program and the Technology Centre Cartifthrough a pioneering project for the utilization of residues from the process 143 tons of wine using biomass as fuel, saving the emission of 400 tons of C02 into the atmosphere.
  •  The R + D + i is one of the Matarromera fundamental bets, with an annual investment accounting for 30% of total turnover, with around 3.5 million per year, which will become in the cellar with more percentage of turnover devoted to innovation.
  •  As part of this bet, Matarromera participates in several R & D + i projects in the field of environmental sustainability.
  •  Its own patent polyphenol extraction plant, allows Matarromera to create innovative products like high-end cosmetics line ESDOR.
  •  It is also the first winery in the world that has created a wine-based drinks with 0% alcohol and 0 calories, Emina ZER0.0, and has built the largest molecular deconstruction plant in the world, opened in July 2011.
  •  Matarromera Group received in 2010 the award Innoval in the Alimentaria Fair for designing, developing and launching the most innovative product of the last two years in the category of spirits wines for Eminazer0.0
  •  Recently, the Group has been awarded among hundreds of companies throughout Spain with the "Award Cinco Días a la innovación” with Danone and Ecopapel, thanks to the first non-alcoholic wine on the market . The company expects an annual production million liters.
  •  All energy practices performed by the group in its various production centers save 400 tons of emission of CO2 to the atmosphere.
