product's data sheet
This wine, made with Tinta de Toro grapes, has aged along 15- 18 months in new
oak French barrels and another 20 months in bottle. The very carefull selection of
its grapes, coming from vineyards between 60 and 90 years old guarantee this
Visual Phase: very intense, bright, clean dark cherry colour
On the nose: powerful aroma of ripe black fruit in preserve and fine toasted
touches from the oak.
In the mouth it is meaty, with fat, ripe tannins. Perfect fruit-cask coupage. Excellent
varietal expression of ageing. Balmy and mineral tones and of aromatic
plants like thyme and rosemary. Excellent acidity gives it a pleasing freshness.
